Speakers named for global panel at HD Aftermarket Dialogue

Panelists discuss the impact of private-label brands in the aftermarket during Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue on Jan. 27, 2014 in Las Vegas.

The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA), and MacKay & Company announce have finalized the participants for another panel discussion at the upcoming Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue (HDAD) conference.

Rick Dauch, CEO, Delphi Technologies; and Jim Kamsickas, chairman and CEO, Dana Incorporated, have been named panelists for The Real-World View: A Global Perspective session at the eighth-annual event later this month.

In this opening session led by former Daimler Trucks CEO and Volvo Executive Chris Patterson, the panelists will discuss thoughts on major trends and developments impacting the global market for commercial vehicles. Organizers say Dauch and Kamsickas will address some of the more significant developments for vehicle manufacturers and suppliers including vertical integration, electrification, automated vehicles, the internet of truck things (IoTT), and current trade-related challenges.

Additional HDAD sessions will feature individual presenters and executive panel discussions with primary topics that include:

  • Trade Policy & Impacts on the Aftermarket
  • The Global Aftermarket Overview
  • Aftermarket Industry Economy & Outlook
  • The Blurring Lines of Aftermarket Distribution
  • Future Aftermarket Technology
  • Parts and Service: The Fleet Perspective

HDAD will be held from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2020, in the Texas Ballroom at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Conference Center in Grapevine, Texas. HDAD registration is now open. It is intended to facilitate networking with industry peers and will include digital presentation materials, breakfast, breaks, a networking luncheon, and the HDAW 2020 All-Industry Reception.
