A busy year of growth continues for Whiteford Kenworth, which announced Tuesday the grand opening and ribbon-cutting of its newly remodeled and relocated dealership in Lima, Ohio.

The new location at 3255 Fort Shawnee Industrial Drive, represents a major investment in Allen County and a renewed commitment to serving commercial truck operators across Northwest Ohio. This is the second new facility the company has opened this year as it celebrates 50 years as a Kenworth dealer

The ribbon-cutting ceremony, held on Oct. 23, 2025, in partnership with the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce and Allen Economic Development Group, welcomed more than 65 attendees including local officials, Kenworth executives, employees, suppliers and community leaders. State Senator Susan Manchester delivered opening remarks that paid tribute to Whiteford Kenworth with the presentation of a formal proclamation to leadership, honoring decades of steadfast service to the customer. Throughout the course of the open house that followed, the company says 160-plus guests enjoyed food, supplier displays and guided tours until 7 p.m.

Strategically positioned just off I-75 at Exit 120, the newly remodeled and reconfigured 36,700 sq.-ft., dealership sits on a 13-acre site, replacing the company’s previous location on Findlay Road in Lima where it operated for 24 years.

The new location offers enhanced visibility and accessibility for drivers traveling throughout the region.

Whiteford Kenworth says facility highlights include:

  • 12 fully equipped service bays
  • 5,400 sq.-ft., showroom
  • Expanded parts department
  • Driver’s lounge
  • 24/7 mobile service availability

“This investment to move from our previous location here in Lima after 24 years, reinforces Whiteford Kenworth’s commitment to Lima, our local community and our drive to consistently improve service to our valued customers” says R.C. Euler, vice president for Whiteford Kenworth.

Cindy Leis, president and CEO of the Allen Economic Development Group, adds, “Whiteford Kenworth’s investment in Lima is a powerful affirmation of our region’s strength in the transportation and logistics sector. This facility enhances services for commercial operators and creates new opportunities for workforce development and long-term economic growth.”
