Illinois Auto Truck Co. Inc. (IATCO), manufacturers of new clutch assemblies, components, flywheels, and supplemental parts for Class 6-8 vehicles, has introduced an extended warranty on its Easy Effort and AutoSet Clutches.
IATCO says its standard warranty on heavy-duty clutches is two years, unlimited miles. The extended warranty provides an additional year (three years, unlimited miles) when an Easy Effort or AutoSet Clutch is sold with an IATCO clutch installation kit. IATCO requires that the installer use a re-ground or new flywheel to qualify for the extended warranty.
“The new extended warranty encourages end users to utilize a clutch installation kit to ensure that all components are brought back to original specification” says IATCO’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing Jordan R. Stein. “The clutch installation kit includes all components needed for a complete clutch installation and ensures smooth engagement of the clutch and reduces the opportunity for misalignment in the system.”
