Dobbs Management Service announced it will rename all of its Peterbilt locations nationwide as Dobbs Peterbilt, replacing the name for its two wholly owned dealership platforms, Peterbilt Truck Centers and Western Peterbilt.

“The planned unification of branding across all of our stores is part of a larger effort to operate all Dobbs truck dealerships in the same consistent manner, with strengthened customer service, standardized training and employee support, increased parts availability and broad truck inventory,” says Dobbs Peterbilt CEO Mike Clark.

This change will simplify advertising and marketing as well as improve online searches for new and used truck inventory, the company says.

“The launch of Dobbs Peterbilt brand unifies us under one flag rather than only as local market brands,” Dobbs Management Service President Edward Dobbs says in a news release. “For several years, we have laid the foundation for this transition by investing significantly in facilities and developing best practices in our stores. We have done this while focusing on the customer as our number one priority. We will continue to invest in employees and customers in order to be a premier commercial truck dealer group.”

Dobbs Peterbilt operates a full service Peterbilt dealer group that offers new heavy- and medium-duty trucks, a variety of used trucks, parts for Peterbilts and all other brands, service, finance, rental and leasing options.

Dobbs Peterbilt has 20 locations and serves eight states, operating in Alaska, Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oregon, Tennessee and Washington.

The mission at Dobbs Peterbilt is to be the premier commercial truck dealership group by consistently delivering valued solutions that drive superior customer results, the company says.
