The new facility is located at 4484 S. Desert Color Parkway, on the northeast corner of the Exit 2 exchange that connects I-15 to the Southern Corridor and the St. George airport. The 21,000 sq.-ft. facility sits on 10 acres and features 12 service bays, expanded parts inventory, new and used truck sales, rental and leasing, the company says.
“This new store allows us to better facilitate the needs of our customer base in the St. George area,” says Lynn Cusey, Kenworth Sales Company district manager. “Kenworth has been servicing this area for many years — since 1999. We are always looking for ways to better serve our customers and look forward to enhancing customer experience with our new, state of the art location.”
Hughes General Contractors headed the project with the help of a number of local subcontractors. Alliance Consulting is the local engineer and design is by NBW Architects.
“It was important to us to use local businesses in this project,” says Kyle Treadway, Kenworth Sales Company president. “We want to support and work with our neighbors in an effort to be good contributors to the community today and moving forward.”
Kenworth Sales Company says it was founded in 1945 by the Treadway family and has the combined service and support of over 800 employees across 22 locations.
