River States Truck & Trailer will be recognized at the awards breakfast for the Deloitte Wisconsin 75 at Pier Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisc., the company has announced.

The Wisconsin 75 recognizes the largest 75 privately  held businesses in the state of Wisconsin. The program recognizes more than just revenue, it also recognizes business contributions to the communities in which they are located, the people who build the business and the overall Wisconsin economy of which they are a part.

The list includes many of the most recognizable companies in the state of Wisconsin, as well as others that may not be widely known but whose importance to Wisconsin’s economy cannot be overstated.

In addition to again being recognized among Wisconsin’s finest businesses, this year River States Truck & Trailer will receive the Distinguished Performer award in the Succession category which recognizes how the company’s employees have successfully navigated from first generation ownership to second  generation.

Continued excellence after the business was passed on by Bob Frise more than 12 years ago has proven to be award winning.

Joe Laux, president of River States Truck & Trailer, says he is honored and humbled by the succession award and dedicated it in honor of his predecessor and founder of River States Truck & Trailer, Bob Frise.

Companies on the Wisconsin 75 do more than just empower the economy, the company says, they also help enhance the quality of life of its communities by donating time and money to important community initiatives.

River States Truck & Trailer, Inc. is a full service Freightliner Trucks dealership headquartered in La Crosse, Wisc., with full service dealerships in Eau Claire, Roberts and La Crosse, and service outlets in Hudson, Wisc., and Duluth Minn.

This is the third consecutive year that River States Truck & Trailer has been named to the Wisconsin 75, and the first year recognized as a Distinguished Performer.
