The Motor & Equipment Remanufacturers Association (MERA) and the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) will host a webinar next week to share results from the Commission’s recent report: “Remanufactured Goods: An Overview of the U.S. and Global Industries, Markets, and Trade.”
USITC International Trade Analyst Alan Treat—the project leader for the report—will lead the web presentation, which is set for Jan. 17 at 2 p.m. (ET). Treat will be joined by Tani Fukui, economist, office of economics with USITC. John Chalifoux, president and COO of MERA, will moderate the webinar, which will include time for questions from the audience.
The report, which was completed for the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) in late 2012, provides an overview of U.S. remanufactured goods industries and markets, including U.S. remanufacturing production and employment, estimates of U.S. and global trade in remanufactured goods and factors affecting trends in the trade of remanufactured goods.
