An agricultural boom has prompted Kenworth of South Florida to open a new parts and service location in Fort Pierce, Fla.

The location joins a sister site in Fort Lauderdale and a parts location in Riviera Beach.

“Fort Pierce is experiencing growth in the agricultural industry as citrus exports to Asia expand and with that has come an increasing need for truck parts and service by local agricultural haulers and farms,” Todd Hays, dealer principal of Kenworth of South Florida, says.

The 13,000 square-foot building provides room for an extensive parts inventory in a 4,100 square-foot parts area and a driver’s lounge with wireless Internet.

There are 12 service bays and a mobile service truck, which can respond to the remote service needs of agricultural product haulers and citrus farms and other customers. The location will also offer parts delivery.
