NTEA, the Work Truck Association, added a session on power take offs to its Commercial Vehicle Upfitting Summit, the organization announced Thursday.

Muncie Power Products, Parker Hannifin and Thermo King Americas will explore the differences between conventional PTOs and ePTOs during the Oct. 15-16 summit in Sandusky, Ohio. Presenters will discuss which PTO option is best suited for various commercial vehicle applications, regardless of powertrain, and highlight unique advantages and limitations.

The session will also include a review of the SAE J3253 ePTO Recommended Practice and how to spec PTO systems effectively for optimal performance.
The summit's advance pricing runs through Sept. 10 and is $229 for members and $329 for nonmembers.
