Dallas tech biggest winner at Rush Rodeo

Jason Swann was the biggest prize winner in the Rush Truck Centers Tech Skills Rodeo Tuesday night, taking home $20,500 in cash and prizes. Swann, who works at the Rush Heavy-Duty facility in Dallas, was the all-around prize-winner in the Heavy-duty Division.

John Dobberpuhl was the top all-around winner in the Medium-duty Division. He won $19,500 in cash and prizes. He works at the Denver Medium-Duty facility.

Second place all-around winners were: Mike Jones, $11,000 in cash and prizes, Heavy-duty; and Steve Brain, $10,000 in cash and prizes, Medium-duty.

Third place all-around winners were: Randy Hughes, $8,500 in cash and prizes, Heavy-duty; and Pieter Dezwart, $6,500 in cash and prizes, Medium-duty.

Other winners and their cash prizes, in order of finishing, were:

GO GREEN DIVISION

Gonzalo Uribe, $5,000; Adam Hillard, $4,000.

MEDIUM DUTY DIVISION

Hino: Billy Stanley, $4,500; Steve Brain, $3,500.

Isuzu: John Dobberpuhl, $4,500; Ira Burton, $3,500.

Peterbilt: Travis Webster, $4,500; Steve Roen, $3,500.

International: Javier Sanchez, $4,500; Pieter Dezwart, $3,500.

HEAVY DUTY DIVISION

Cummins: Randy Hughes, $5,500; Mike Jones, $4,500; Sigifredo Gandaria, $3,500.

Eaton: Jason Swann, $5,500; Tyler Jameson, $4,500; Brian Noska, $3,500.

Paccar MX: Glenn Boothe, $5,000; Mark Robertson, $4,000.

MaxxForce: Jeff Vise, $5,000; Gary Fassett, $4,000.
