American Trucking Association’s Technology & Maintenance Council has introduced the 2012-2013 Recommended Practices Manual.
The new edition is a two-volume set is said to include TMC’s Recommended Maintenance Practices Manual, featuring maintenance and equipment testing information, and Recommended Engineering Practices Manual, featuring spec’ing, design and construction practices. Comprising more than 2,900 pages, fleets, service providers and equipment manufacturers across the nation use TMC’s manual when it comes to the purchase, design, maintenance and performance of equipment.

According to TMC, the manual includes recommended practices for:
