Six Robblees is celebrating its 100th year in business in 2013. Opened in 1913 by three brothers tuning bicycle spokes, the business has evolved into a heavy-duty truck and trailer distributor with 18 locations and 165 employees in five states.
Six Robblees began servicing the automotive and truck market shortly after opening, and continued adding to its product offering in the years after that. The company joined HDA America in 1982 and is now a member of the HDA Truck Pride network. Six Robblees is an active member in the HDA Truck Pride organization, and was a Truck Parts & Service Distributor of the Year nominee in 2012.
“We’ve seen tremendous growth and improvement in our product offering and service. But one thing we’ve held true to is preserving the belief that ‘Customers deserve great service!’ That was my grandfather’s belief in 1930 and still our primary mission today,” says Andy Robblee, president. “One hundred years and three generations could not be possible without the vision of our management team nor the dedication of our employees.
“We will be celebrating our centennial with open house events in various locations to give gratitude where it is most deserving: to our suppliers for their support and belief in Six Robblees; to our employees for their dedication; and to our customers for without whom, none of this is possible.”
