Pressure Systems International (PSI) has published its final Commercial Fleet Tire Digest of 2017. This final issue addresses setting tire pressure levels with automatic tire inflation systems (ATIS).
As the industry leader in the production of ATIS systems, PSI states “adopting ATIS for the first time provides the perfect opportunity to revisit your trailer tire cold pressure setting. When asked what setting the system should be set to, most quickly respond with ‘The same pressure as we have been running,’ which in many cases is not optimal.”
