The following safety recalls were issued Monday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA):
- Bollinger Motors is recalling certain 2025 B4 trucks. The high voltage battery pack may be improperly sealed and allow liquid to enter the battery. Liquid intrusion into a battery pack can cause a loss of electrical isolation or short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire or shock hazard. In addition, the detection of a battery fault can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 17 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2019-2020 Transit Connect vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 20V-636. The powertrain control module (PCM) software has fail-safe temperature threshold values higher than intended for the engine. This may delay engine cooling and result in engine overheating. An engine that overheats increases the risk of a fire. NHTSA says 152 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2025 F-150 full hybrid electric (FHEV) vehicles. The high voltage battery junction box may contain an incorrect fuse, which can fail and result in a sudden loss of drive power. A sudden loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 47 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Great Dane Trailers is recalling certain 2025-2026 Champion Dry Van trailers equipped with Bridgestone R123 Ecopia tires, size 295/75R22.5. The tires may have been manufactured incorrectly with one of the three stabilizer ply belts applied in the wrong orientation. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 119, "New pneumatic tires - other than passenger cars." Incorrect belt orientation may cause the tires to fail and increase the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 16 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Micro Bird is recalling certain 2012, 2015-2019, and 2024 G5 school buses equipped with Type 2 seat belts. The seat reinforcement supports may not have been installed. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with FMVSS numbers 207, "Seating Systems" and 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages." An insufficiently retained seat can detach during a crash, increasing the risk of injury. NHTSA says 26 units are potentially affected by the recall.
- Oshkosh Corporation is recalling certain 2024-2025 ICE 2WD, ICE AWD, and BEV 2WD Next Generation delivery vehicles. The wiper arm nuts may be loose, causing the wipers to fail. Windshield wiper failure can reduce driver visibility, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 169 units are potentially affected by the recall.
