The following safety recalls were issued Monday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA):

  • Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2018-2020 F-150 vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 20V097. When the headlight switch is turned from "Autolamps" to "Headlamps On," the Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs) may remain fully bright instead of dimming to parking lamps as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices and Associated Equipment." Daytime Running Lamps that do not dim may reduce the visibility of other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 91,198 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Ford Motor Company is recalling certain model year 2014 F-150 vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 24V444. A loss of signal between the transmission output shaft speed sensor and the powertrain control module (PCM) can cause the transmission to unexpectedly downshift into first gear. Unexpectedly downshifting into first gear may result in a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.  NHTSA says 44,963 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2018 F-150 vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 17V669. Quickly moving the shift lever from Park to Drive may cause a loss of gear indication on the instrument cluster display and a momentary selection of an unintended gear, such as Reverse or Neutral. Unintended gear selection may cause the vehicle to move in an unexpected direction, increasing the risk of crash or injury. NHTSA says 10,742 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Wabash National Corporation is recalling certain 2027 Wabash van trailers. The bumper tube bolts may have been improperly tightened, reducing the protection provided by the rear impact guard. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of FMVSS number 223, "Rear Impact Guards." An improperly installed guard may not sufficiently protect a following vehicle, increasing the risk of injury during a rear end crash. NHTSA says 920 units are potentially affected by the recall.
  • Winnebago Industries is recalling certain 2026-2027 Revel and Revel Sport recreational vehicles. The tire information label states an incorrect tire. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of FMVSS number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims." Referencing the incorrect information could cause owners to install the wrong size replacement tires, increasing the risk of a crash. NHTSA says 384 units are potentially affected by the recall.
