All four truck OEMs are represented by the finalists for the 2024 Successful Dealer Award.
Now in its 12th year, the Successful Dealer Award program continues to grow by shining a light on exemplary dealer entities supporting the North American trucking industry.
Sponsored by Automann, Interstate Billing Service, Karmak, National Truck Protection and Premium 2000, the award’s ongoing interest is a testament to the importance of dealer recognition and the program’s growing prestige.
Each spring, Trucks, Parts, Service accepts nominations from all corners of the trucking industry for dealers who deserve accolades and recognition for their consistent business, customer service and community involvement excellence. Nominated dealers are then asked to complete a rigorous questionnaire that uncovers the breadth of the company’s business and community performance, and the five dealers with the strongest submissions are chosen as the award’s finalists.

This year, that group is Allstate Peterbilt, Excel Truck Group, Lakeside International Trucks, RWC Group and Velocity Vehicle Group.
“I am absolutely flabbergasted by the strength of the businesses in this year’s Successful Dealer Award program,” says Lucas Deal, TPS editor and content director. “The questionnaires we received from our finalists and semifinalists were unbelievable — filled with incredible detail about all the ways the dealer channel not only keeps America moving, but also showcasing how important truck dealers are to their communities and the general economy. We are proud to have the opportunity to recognize these dealers this year and look forward to sharing their stories with our audience.”
This year’s finalists have incredible coverage of the trucking market. Together, the five operations have more than 160 locations globally, including nearly 120 in the United States alone. Medium- and heavy-duty truck brands represented include Autocar, Ford, Freightliner, Fuso, Hino, International, Isuzu, Mack, Peterbilt and Western Star.
Four of the five dealers also are participating in the program for the first time. Only Allstate Peterbilt (2013, 2020) has previously been a Successful Dealer Award finalist. In total, more than 40 dealers were nominated for this year’s award.

“It is exciting and thrilling to know we will have the opportunity to crown one of these businesses as the 2024 Successful Dealer Award winner at our dealer Summit in October,” says Deal. “On behalf of TPS, I thank our audience and the entire trucking industry for their support in nominating these businesses and our other wonderful candidates.”
Candidates for this year’s award will be evaluated for their customer outreach and service excellence, sales acumen and success, employee engagement, marketing, industry involvement, community stewardship, environmental impact and more. Each finalist also will be profiled by TPS in the months ahead, with the 2024 award winner to be announced during the program’s exclusive dealer summit on Oct. 15, in Nashville.
Attendance to the Successful Dealer Award Summit is limited to current award finalists and prior winners. The two-day event is a meld of high-level industry presentations, open business discussion and elite networking opportunities. Award finalists are provided all-inclusive registration for the event, while all onsite expenses are covered for prior award finalists.
