Karmak recently hosted a Fusion User Summit at Detroit Diesel's facility in Michigan. The event was coordinated with the dealer services group from Daimler Truck North America.
Dealers from as far away as Alberta and Florida made the trip for the two-day meeting, which was focused on partnership, process improvement, and product direction. A similar event was held last year at Transwest Trucks in Denver.
Karmak says the attendee-driven agenda included discussions around Fusion’s latest enhancements, available third-party integrations, underutilized Fusion features, the new Karmak Mobile Service App, and the Truckmore marketing solution. The DTNA Team provided updates on their priorities and technology roadmap including Uptime Pro, Express WriteUp, and a live demo of Tech Lane. The event also featured department-specific breakout sessions and presentations from KEA Advisors on how parts and service departments can work better together for the benefit of the business and the customer experience, the company says.

“I was delighted to attend this event at Detroit Diesel with Karmak and the other Fusion dealers. It was exciting to get a look into the future of both DTNA and Karmak. The partnership among DTNA, the Dealers, and Karmak aligns everyone's goals and significantly contributes to driving operational enhancements. The Summit was a fantastic couple of days filled with engagement, collaboration, and enjoyable moments,” says Tim Humes, CIO from Kentucky Truck Sales.
Karmak adds the event also included a casual kick-off reception on the first night and a tenacious axe throwing competition/group dinner on the second night. The classroom sessions were led by a team from Karmak’s Product, Support, Professional Services, and Demo groups as well as sponsors from DocStar and Elite Extra.
Karmak is planning additional Fusion User Summits through the rest of the summer and is gearing up for their annual Conference, which is set for Oct. 1-3. at Union Station in St. Louis. More information on Karmak Conference & Expo 2024 can be found on the company's website.
