Karmak logoKarmak has announced a new integration between its Fusion business system and Daimler Truck North America’s (DTNA) Paragon Parts Purchase Order Export (PPOE) program, designed to streamline parts ordering, including those needed for critical vehicle repairs.

According to the companies, this integration enhances efficiency for DTNA dealers by reducing manual data entry and expediting high-priority parts orders, minimizing vehicle down time.

With this integration, finalized purchase orders can be exported directly from Fusion to Paragon PPOE, enabling dealers to prioritize urgent orders for downed vehicles. Dealers can flag specific parts with Vehicle Down Indicators (VDI flags), triggering automatic expedited processing through DTNA. This ensures that critical parts receive immediate attention, enabling faster vehicle repairs and improved uptime.

The companies add key benefits of the Fusion-Paragon integration include:

  • Seamless Order Transmission – Dealers can mark urgent parts orders with VDI flags, automatically sending them to DTNA as expedited requests.
  • Direct Repair Order Linkage – When a purchase order includes VDI-flagged parts, Fusion associates them with the corresponding repair order, linking the order to the customer's vehicle identification number (VIN) and ensuring accurate tracking.
  • Enhanced Order Management – The Paragon purchase order is directly linked to a repair order, auto-populating key details such as the customer, VIN, and meter reading for downed vehicle repairs.
  • Customer Data Synchronization – The integration allows Paragon Customer Numbers to be mapped to Fusion Customer Numbers, ensuring consistency and accuracy in order management.

“This integration streamlines how dealers manage urgent parts orders, reducing manual effort while ensuring downed vehicles are repaired as quickly as possible,” said Robin Gilmore, integrations product manager at Karmak. “By automating the Vehicle Down ordering process and linking it directly to repair jobs, we’re helping dealers improve efficiency, enhance service turnaround, and minimize downtime for their customers.”
