Karmak on Monday announced a multi-year partnership with BlueTread LLC to develop and deliver Karmak’s NextGen Scheduler, a connected scheduling platform that will optimize how Karmak customers and their fleet customers plan and coordinate service.

Karmak says this partnership marks a major milestone in Karmak’s First-to-Last Mile (F2LM) strategy, which connects every stage of service from the first fault code to the final invoice. Together, the company says Karmak and BlueTread are building an advanced scheduling solution that delivers real-time visibility, predictive insights and a unified customer experience across the entire service lifecycle.

“This partnership is a major step forward in connecting how our customers and their fleet customers plan, schedule and execute service,” says John Cowan, senior vice president of business solutions at Karmak. “Together with BlueTread, we’re delivering real-time scheduling intelligence that helps every stakeholder, from the technician to the fleet manager, work in sync. It’s a key milestone in our First-to-Last Mile journey and a clear example of how Karmak is building the industry’s only connected ecosystem designed for ROI.”

The Karmak NextGen Scheduler, powered by BlueTread, will be fully embedded within Karmak’s Fusion business platform. It replaces Karmak’s legacy scheduler and serves as the foundation for an intelligent, unified scheduling experience across Fusion, Truckmore, and the broader Karmak Connected Ecosystem.

The company states key capabilities include:

  • Real-Time Visibility: View bay availability, technician capacity, and fleet schedules in one place.
  • Smart Orchestration: Align service scheduling with diagnostic data, telematics, and approval workflows.
  • Fleet Collaboration: Connect directly with fleet customers through Truckmore for real-time appointment requests, updates, and communication.
  • OEM and Partner Integration: Built through Unity Pro, Karmak’s bi-directional data fabric, enabling seamless workflows with OEMs and strategic partners such as Decisiv, TruVideo and Diesel Laptops.

Karmak says the NextGen Scheduler is now in early adopter rollout, with broader availability planned for the first quarter of 2026. It will make its public debut at Karmak Conference & Expo 2025 this week, where attendees can enroll in the Early Adopter Program and help shape the 2026 roadmap.

“BlueTread was founded to bridge the gap between people, process, and technology,” says Steve Wilcox, CEO of BlueTread. “We’ve always believed that smarter scheduling is the foundation of smarter service, and our partnership with Karmak brings that vision to life. Together, we’re extending that bridge across the entire service lifecycle, helping shops plan more effectively, communicate seamlessly, and deliver measurable ROI from every scheduled repair. This collaboration marks the next evolution in service management.”
