After a two-year hiatus because of COVID-19, the NATDA Trailer Show’s return to Nashville, Tenn., produced record-breaking results in dealership attendance.

This year’s show took place at an interesting time in the industry’s calendar as inventory is incredibly difficult to come by. However, that did not stop dealers from traveling to the Music City to meet with their current manufacturers and discover new products, organizers say.

“As first-time exhibitors at the NATDA Trailer Show, we could not be more pleased with our sales, the courteous staff, the thoughtful logistics process and the quality of the attendees,” said Super Duty Fans’ CEO Phil Eggers.

“We couldn’t be prouder with the way the trailer industry reunited,” says NATDA Vice President Amy Ackerman. “To set a new show record in the current landscape just further enforces our belief that our event is a valuable addition for the entire trailer industry.”

With new components such as the exhibitor-only Trailer Parts Expo and dealer-specific hands-on technical training, this year’s show provided new items for employees from every part of the industry that the association looks forward to developing further.

The NATDA Trailer Show will return to Nashville again in 2022, taking place yet again at the Music City Center from Aug. 31 through Sept. 2. The annual show is expected to sell out quickly based on a record number of committed exhibitors returning.

“Exhibitors are ecstatic to return to Nashville in 2022,” says NATDA President Andy Ackerman. “They’re excited to use 2021 as a steppingstone to create an even greater event for our dealer members in 2022, both in scope and opportunity. We believe this year was a monumental step in the show’s history and has truly emphasized its value to the industry.”

Dealer registration for the 2022 NATDA Trailer Show is expected to open by early 2022. To learn more about NATDA’s mission, please visit natda.org.
