    The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of Aug. 15, 2022:

    • RV Retailer LLC has appointed Jennifer Robinson chief financial officer, Mario Lozada chief information officer and Shahnaz Broucek chief leadership coach and culture development officer.
    • RealTruck has hired Tom Luttrell as its new chief information officer.
    • Dr. Peter Vaughan Schmidt has been named the next CEO of Torq Robotics, an independent subsidiary of Daimler Truck. Torq Founder and prior CEO Michael Fleming will retain a seat on the company's board of directors. 
    • Jan Gurander will step down as Volvo Group deputy CEO on Dec. 31, 2021.
