The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of Aug. 15, 2022:

RV Retailer LLC has appointed Jennifer Robinson chief financial officer, Mario Lozada chief information officer and Shahnaz Broucek chief leadership coach and culture development officer.
RealTruck has hired Tom Luttrell as its new chief information officer.
Dr. Peter Vaughan Schmidt has been named the next CEO of Torq Robotics, an independent subsidiary of Daimler Truck. Torq Founder and prior CEO Michael Fleming will retain a seat on the company's board of directors.
Jan Gurander will step down as Volvo Group deputy CEO on Dec. 31, 2021.
