The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of Aug. 8, 2022:
- HD Repair Forum announced new members to its advisory board: Jamie Cole, president and owner, Ace Truck Repair; Randy Johansson, body shop manager, Rihm Kenworth; Bernie Obry, general manager, Coach USA-Perfect Body; and John Spoto, director of collision, Premier Truck Group.
- Nikola President and CEO Mark Russell will retire on Jan. 1, 2023. Current Nikola Motor President Michael Lohscheller will assume Russell's president title and join the Nikola board of directors effective immediately and become CEO upon Russell's retirement. Russell will remain a member of the company's board.
