The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of Jan. 23, 2023:
- Jasper Engines & Transmissions has announced three leadership appointments. Ryan Dooley has been named director of diesel manufacturing; Scott Hoffman was named director of gas engine manufacturing; Matt Gregory was named plant superintendent of the company's Willow Springs, Missouri, remanufacturing facility.
- Dayco announces Craig Frohock has joined Dayco Aftermarket and Belts as its new CEO.
- April Carlson is JX Enterprises' new director of used trucks. She will be responsible for pre-owned vehicle sales strategy, inventory control and pricing at 28 JX Truck Center locations.
- Amy Boerger, Cummins vice president and general manager of on-highway for North America, will retire at the end of March.
- Embark Trucks has appointed Simina Simion as first Chief People Officer.
