Who’s in the news: Our weekly trucking employment report

The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of July 17, 2023:

  • Reyco Granning president John Stuart will retire, effective Aug. 12, 2023. Stuart joined the company in 1992, departed in 1996 but returned in 2014 as vice president of engineering. He has served as president since 2015.
  • Love's Travel Stops has hired Eddie Burt as the company’s first chief supply chain officer.
  • ETHERO Truck + Energy has hired John Griffin as zero-emissions truck sales representative for its Elkridge, Md., location.
  • DENSO has made a number of promotions within its management team. Michael Small has been promoted to senior manager, National Accounts Sales & Marketing. Kelly Dickens has been promoted to manager, National Accounts. Lisa Jinn has been promoted to manager, Category Management. Otto Jun has been promoted to manager, Heavy Duty OEM/OES. Andrew Shlatz has been promoted to manager, Heavy Duty Aftermarket Sales. 
  • Brian Stansbury is the U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration new chief counsel.
