Inland Truck Parts Company has promoted Geoff Garafola to the newly created position of chief operating officer.

Garafola joined Inland when his family business, ARD Industrial Power in Garland, Texas, was acquired by Inland in 2001. He has served in numerous roles at Inland, including branch manager at Inland’s Garland and Irving, Texas, stores, after which he relocated to the corporate office in Overland Park, Kan., in 2011 to fill a newly created position of Product and Technical Information Manager.

As technology became increasingly important to the organization, Garafola again took on a new role as Chief Technology Officer in 2014, and then in 2020 added oversight of Purchasing to his areas of responsibility. In Garafola’s new COO role he will assume oversight of all Inland store operations, the company says.

“Geoff has demonstrated at every level the ability to understand what is needed to deliver solutions that ensure Inland remains a successful organization,” says Greg Klein, Inland’s president and CEO.
