The Natural Gas Vehicle Institute will exhibit at the Technology & Maintenance Council’s Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition from March 11-14, 2013 at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Conference Center in Nashville. NGVi will be located at booth #800.
According to NGVi, the exhibition serves as the premiere technology marketplace for new trucking-related products and services. NGVi hopes to use its time at the show to address how fuel pricing pressures and rising concerns about energy security and air quality have encouraged a growing trend among U.S. fleets to convert to natural gas as their transportation fuel, the company says.
NGVi provides a wide range of services including technical training, consulting, policy development, fleet assessment and expert testimony before public and private governing bodies, the company says. NGVi has worked with hundreds of companies and government agencies throughout the U.S. and worldwide to help successfully integrate natural gas into their transportation mix. Recently, NGVi says it has become the first and only natural gas vehicle industry training provider to earn ASE accreditation.
“An increasing number of companies across the U.S. are seizing the benefits of natural gas for their fleets, and NGVi is excited to be part of this transformation,” says Leo Thomason, executive director. “In order to better understand the differences between natural gas and traditional fuels, and the best practices involved for companies to operate a natural gas powered fleet, proper education and training is critical.”
