This year’s Bendix Tech Talk Series at the Mid-America Trucking Show will include insights on air disc and drum foundation brakes, air treatment and charging systems, and advanced safety technologies.

Continuing the tradition established with the series’ launch in 2011, Bendix product and service experts will offer “how-to” demonstrations, interactive question-and-answer sessions, and discussion of the issues and technologies shaping the commercial vehicle industry.

Open to all show attendees, the 15-minute Tech Talks begin at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 21. The final session is scheduled for 12:30 p.m., Saturday, March 23. The full slate of 15 Tech Talks will take place at Bendix’s booth, No. 32305 in the South Hall. (See page 2 for schedule.)

The Bendix Tech Talks will cover a variety of topics, including popular subjects such as alignment techniques, proper replacement friction for high performance drum brakes and air disc brake maintenance and inspection techniques.

“The Bendix Tech Talks deliver topics that are top of mind for today’s vehicle owners.  There’s no better opportunity to learn from the experts, and to ask the questions that can help you operate your vehicle more efficiently and lower your total cost of ownership, and help ensure regulatory compliance. It’s 15 minutes well spent,” said Barbara Gould, Bendix director of communications. “The Bendix Tech Talks are an important part of our ongoing commitment to post-sales support. They offer an opportunity to educate and inform people in every part of the trucking industry – drivers, fleet operators, OEs, and maintenance technicians alike.”
