The Natural Gas Vehicle Institute (NGVi) will hold two training sessions to educate the heavy-duty market about CNG in May in Egg Harbor, N.J.

The first session will be held May 14 and will provide technician and fleet operations safety training, NGVi says. It also will teach elements involved in safe maintenance practices, fueling procedures and other operations related to CNG.

The second course will be a two-day session, held May 15-16. This course will focus on fuel system training, and will teach participants proper techniques for inspecting CNG fuel systems, including on-board CNG fuel storage cylinders, NGVi says.

For more information about each course, contact 800-510-6484 or [email protected]. To register, go to http://ngvi.com/public_registration.html.

NGVi also says it is now offering in-house training courses for facilities with more than 10 employees that would like to learn about natural gas.  NGVi says it has four distinct programs it can provide, and more information can be found at https://www.ngvi.com/in-house-training/.
