Tom Marx, CEO of Marx Group Advisors, will address “Surviving and Thriving During a Merger, Acquisition, Divestiture or Other Change in Ownership” Wednesday, July 24 at the Northwood University campus in Midland, Mich., as part of the University of the Aftermarket’s weeklong Heavy Duty Leadership educational conference.
“Mergers, acquisitions or any change in ownership are a frequent reality within companies today,” Marx says, “and most employees will experience this scenario at some point in his or her career. My goal is to supply heavy duty industry leaders with real world, practical advice on how to both survive and thrive during any type of ownership change.”
Marx will provide students with strategies on how they can be their best during a merger or acquisition, and advice on managing the people that work for them during this type of transition and how to contribute to make sure the deal is a success.
Marx has over 12 years of experience delivering M&A services and access to a 25-plus year network of relationships in the automotive and heavy duty aftermarkets.
