Purdue staffer to present at MERA meeting

Steve Shade, managing director, Institute for Competitive Manufacturing, College of Engineering, Purdue University, will discuss the University’s research efforts related to remanufacturing and new opportunities for collaboration during the Nov. 21 MERA Sales & Marketing Council meeting, hosted by Detroit Diesel, Detroit, Mich.

The agenda will also include a tour of the Detroit Diesel new engine manufacturing facility, which produces the advanced DD engine platform for Daimler Trucks North America.

The MERA Sales & Marketing Council provides a forum for senior executives who oversee sales and marketing to address issues of common concern, share best practices, benchmark business performance, create practical industry tools, and advance the remanufacturing industry.

Council membership is open to remanufacturer and supplier members of MERA. In lieu of individual meeting registration fees, annual council dues support the meeting and logistical expenses of the council.
