The MERA Sales & Marketing Council will set priorities for 2014 during its Thursday, Nov. 21 meeting, which will be hosted by Detroit Diesel Remanufacturing at Detroit Diesel Corporate Headquarters, Detroit, Mich.

MERA says the agenda also includes an update on new opportunities for remanufacturing research collaboration by Steve Shade, managing director, Institute for Competitive Manufacturing, Purdue University, College of Engineering, as well as a tour of Detroit Diesel’s new engine manufacturing facility.

The MERA Sales & Marketing Council provides a forum for senior executives who oversee sales and marketing to address issues of common concern, share best practices, benchmark business performance, create practical industry tools, and advance the remanufacturing industry, the company says.

Council membership is open to remanufacturer and supplier members of MERA. In lieu of individual meeting registration fees, annual council dues support the meeting and logistical expenses of the council.
