Updated Aug 7, 2017

Truck Centers, Inc., recently celebrated the grand opening of its new Effingham, Ill., facility, its tenth overall across Illinois, Indiana and Missouri.

Truck Centers, Inc., says the new location is strategically poised on 12 acres along the I-57/I-70 corridor to assist local and interstate customers with enhanced parts and service support.

The 32,600 sq.-ft. facility houses sales, parts and service departments as well as premier customer amenities including a plush customer lounge with Wi-Fi, satellite TV, laundry and shower facilities, refreshments and free local shuttle service. The company says 14 technicians, including nine DTNA G2 certified techs, work in 15 state-of-the-art service bays performing certified warranty repairs, maintenance, service work and mobile service repairs on all brands of commercial and large recreational vehicles.

Additionally, more than 10,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space is stocked with critical parts to expedite repairs and maximize customers’ uptime. The facility also receives daily parts delivers from the network’s primary warehouse in Troy, Ill., and they provide multiple parts deliveries to over 60 area customers each and every day for value-added customer service, Truck Centers, Inc., says.

“We are pleased to be a part of the Effingham community and to further support the needs of local and interstate customers by adding our newest full-service dealership to bolster support in Illinois along the heavily traveled Indianapolis to St. Louis corridor,” says Justin Hopkins, vice president of Sales for Truck Centers, Inc. “We have a long and proud heritage of providing our customers a great experience rooted in small town values where handshakes and our word still have value, dedicated employees that do whatever it takes and possess a spirit of continuous improvement.”

“Truck Centers, Inc. is a strong partner to Freightliner and Western Star and has been focused on delivering the highest standard of customer experience for years. Being Elite Support certified demonstrates their dedication to the customer and continuous improvement,” adds Martin Osborne, general manager of Distribution Network Development for Daimler Trucks North America. “Effingham is an ideal location for customer’s traveling through the tri-state area and a great addition to the Freightliner and Western dealer network across North America.”

The Effingham location officially opened for business in April and has already served more than 2,250 customers in their first 60 days of business and created 35 new jobs within the local community.
