Volvo of Denver readies for more action with expansion

Volvo of Denver has completed an expansion renovation to its parts and service department to better serve its customers.

In expanding its location to 54,600 sq. ft., Volvo of Denver has expanded its service center from 18 to 38 bays, each of which will be manned by Volvo Master Technicians on every shift, the company says.

“We have added 20 new service bays, a new drive up service triage center, new customer lounge area, new retail Parts Lobby, and 450 square feet of additional parts storage,” says Joe Millward, parts director.

Volvo of Denver’s expansion also has upped the size of the company’s warehouse to 17,500 sq. ft. The company says the expanded warehouse has been filled with more than $1.7 million in inventory for all makes of Class 8 trucks.

“Doubling the size of our service department will help us get customers in and out quicker with repairs.  We can stock more parts and overall operate much more efficiently,” says Millward.

Volvo of Denver is located on nine acres at 7250 E. 56th Avenue in Commerce City, CO. Volvo of Denver is a full-service Volvo Truck dealership offering new and used truck sales, leasing, rental, parts, and service.

Volvo of Denver is part of Westfall O’Dell Dealer Group, with additional locations in Missouri and Kansas. They are a Volvo, Cummins, and Prevost Certified Dealership and work in conjunction with their sister company, Rapid Ways Truck Leasing, to allow customers the flexibility to buy, rent, and lease from the same company, the company says.
