The American Truck Dealers (ATD) has opened its 2020 Dealer Attitude Survey of Manufacturers.

The annual survey is available exclusively online through July 30 and is designed to help ATD better understand the views of its member base. ATD Chairman Steve Bassett of General Truck Sales says the survey is an important measuring stick for the organization and this year features a special section that addresses the COVID-19 pandemic.

Says Bassett, “Dealers will be able to rate their OEMs performance during this unprecedented time and include comments and feedback anonymously. I encourage you to involve your department managers and provide the most comprehensive feedback you can — the greater the response rate, the more weight the survey results will carry.”

Bassett says all information uncovered through the survey is communicated to industry OEMs through ATD staff and line reps, who then advocate for the dealer market. “OEMs use this survey to find ways we can be successful together,” he says. “And these days, we need to work together to get the best outcomes for our employees, customers and businesses.
