The Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN) will soon launch two exciting new educational resources to support recruiting, training and development of heavy-duty independent aftermarket talent.
The new programs, CVSN OnRamp and CVSN Campus, were introduced Monday during CVSN’s state of the union meeting in Grapevine, Texas, ahead of Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) 2026.

Kuo says OnRamp is not a job board; nor is it a scholarship fund or feel good program. OnRamp will be a national network of trade schools, tech schools and community colleges that will use a CVSN-certified curriculum to recruit and train aftermarket talent. He says CVSN is already engaged with schools as it builds out its educational network, and, once its live, CVSN members will provide internship programs and scholarships to students at schools across the country. Ultimately, Kuo says OnRamp will enable the industry to “grow its workforce — all through a single national pipeline.”
Campus, conversely, will serve as CVSN’s synergetic, always-on training hub designed to offer CVSN-developed soft skills and leadership training and vendor-supplied content formany roles across the independent aftermarket. Kuo says Campus will be a permission-based resource for all members, customizable for any team and, eventually, will include virtual reality and augmented reality tools. He adds it also will serve a key function within the CVSN education ecosystem, along with OnRamp, Heavy Duty Education Week (HDEW) and other training provided by the association.
CVSN will release more information about both programs in the months ahead.
“This is how we will build careers, not just fill openings,” Kuo says.
