Stoops Freightliner-Western Star and Stoops Trailers opened a new 215,000 sq.-ft., facility in Indianapolis

Situated on 40 acres, the two-story facility includes business offices, advanced repair and maintenance bays, two parts warehouses, a drivers and customers lounge, training rooms and a two-level parking garage.

It has 60 service bays with full-service capabilities and eight drive-in, service department write-up and check-in bays; more customer service stations in the parts department; an outdoor pet park and kennel area and more.

“We are excited about investing and expanding our current operations in Indianapolis. This investment is focused on giving our customers a best-inclass experience. The new facilities will provide even more capacity to train and mentor our employees. We anticipate adding 50 jobs and will have expanded employment opportunities. This state-of-the-art corporate building and dealership will reinvigorate this side of Indianapolis, and we are excited about the future,” said Brian McCoy, president of Stoops Freightliner–Western Star, in announcing the groundbreaking in 2023.

Stoops says it will move into the facility in May and hold a grand opening celebration in June.
