A prior winners, two returning finalists and two first-time honorees make up the finalists for this year’s Trucks, Parts, Service Distributor of the Year award.

Sponsored by the Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN), Cummins-Meritor, High Bar Brands, Interstate Billing Service and Karmak, the Distributor of the Year program is celebrating its 22nd year in 2023. Finalists for this year’s award were again selected by the independent aftermarket during a three-month open nomination period from April to June.

This year’s finalists are Blaine Brothers, Crossroads Truck Equipment, Freedom Truck & Trailer, Tidewater Fleet Supply/TNT Parts, and Wheeler Fleet Solutions.

“We asked, and once again the aftermarket has answered, providing us an excellent list of distributor companies to celebrate in the year’s Distributor of the Year program,” says TPS Editor Lucas Deal. “Recognizing independent aftermarket distributors for their uniqueness and excellence is among the best experiences we have at TPS each year and we are supremely pumped to learn more about these operations.”

Nearly 150 nominations were cast for the Distributor of the Year this year with 29 businesses receiving at least one nomination. This year’s finalists represent the businesses that received the most nominations — a mind boggling 75 across the five companies.

Freedom Truck & Trailer and Wheeler Fleet Solutions are first-time finalists in the award program. Crossroads Truck Equipment participated last year, as did Tidewater Fleet Supply/TNT Parts, which also participated as separate entities TNT Parts in 2004 and Tidewater Fleet Supply in 2011.

Blaine Brothers was the 2016 TPS Distributor of the Year and is participating for the fourth time.

These businesses will be profiled on TPS in the months ahead leading up to Distributor of the Year Award presentation on Jan. 23, 2024, at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) in Grapevine, Texas.
