Summit Truck Group of Memphis recently presented the local Ronald McDonald House Charities with a check for $11,000.
The company held its 15th annual golf tournament in Collierville, Tenn., on June 8, offering various sponsorship levels to select suppliers to fund the tournament, with a percentage of all money raised going directly to the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Memphis.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis, at no charge to their guests, provides supportive services and “keeps families close” while children are receiving treatment for cancer and other catastrophic childhood illnesses at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. They enable families to focus on the health of their children rather than anything else ‒ paying bills, cooking meals, or cleaning the house.
The following suppliers contributed to Summit Truck Group’s event this year, which allowed Summit to donate funds to the Ronald McDonald House Charities: BMO, Commercial Fleet Finance, Cummins, Delco Remy, Eaton, Engs Finance, ExxonMobil, First Tennessee Bank, Fleetguard, Fontaine, Isuzu, Mace’s Towing, Meritor, Morgan Corp., Premium 2000, Shell, Shepherd Insurance, Webb Wheel and Weller Truck Parts.
