Paccar, Kenworth hold parts and service channel meeting

43849357470 D2724d2bed K 300x200Paccar Parts and Kenworth Truck Company held their 2018 UPTIME 365 Parts and Service Meeting last month in Orlando. The two-day agenda provided training, discussion and networking opportunities among customers, Kenworth dealers, Paccar Parts, Kenworth Truck Company and Paccar suppliers.

The event was held concurrently with the Paccar Parts and Peterbilt Motors Company meeting.

Paccar Parts says the meeting began with an awards ceremony recognizing dealer achievements and performance. Award criteria was based on maximizing UPTIME, retail sales growth, parts purchase growth, absorption, Paccar MX Engine technician staffing, participation in customer support programs and efforts to maximize customer UPTIME.

“These dealerships exemplify how parts and service work together to deliver UPTIME 365 support to our customers,” says David Danforth, Paccar vice president and Paccar Parts general manager. “They continually exceed goals by performing at the highest levels.”

Paccar Parts says the following awards were presented to Kenworth dealerships:

  • The Fleet Services Dealer of the Year winner was awarded to Truckworx Kenworth, for their support of several key fleets and their impressive fleet services growth at 26 percent.
  • The Special Markets Dealer of the Year was given to Papé Kenworth. Papé Kenworth has increased sales to the bus segment over the last 12 months, employs dedicated bus sales personnel and have been active in Pacc Parts’ port initiatives.
  • Kenworth of Indianapolis was recognized as the Technology Dealer of the Year for their use of several key Paccar Parts technology applications. They have also retailed an incredible 42 million dollars through online parts counter in 2018, the highest dollar amount of any Paccar dealer in the world.
  • The Kenworth Parts Dealer of the Year is CSM Companies. They were selected for this award based on their parts leadership in several key areas, their retail growth, impressive fleet billing and for being the fasted growing Paccar dealer in the world.
  • The final award given at the meeting was the Paccar Parts UPTIME Dealer of the Year award. This award recognized a dealer whose commitment to delivering service and parts programs has culminated in delivering industry-leading uptime to their customers, and was given to MHC Kenworth.

During the event Paccar says dealers attended parts and service training sessions on subjects such as capturing new markets and fleet and special market opportunities. Dealers also participated in interactive workshop discussions and attended the UPTIME expo trade fair, where 80 supplier exhibitors displayed their products and offered interactive demonstrations.

“The meeting concluded with the dealers having new knowledge and skills that will empower them to grow their retail business and bring their customers’ uptime to new heights,” says Brad Johnson, Paccar Parts national sales manager – Kenworth.
