Pickens set to open Commercial Vehicle Outlook Conference

T. Boone Pickens, the man dubbed the “Oracle of Oil” by CNBC, will be the opening speaker at the fourth annual Commercial Vehicle Outlook Conference (CVOC) on Aug. 21 in Dallas.

Pickens will offer a motivational talk on leadership, his career and U.S. energy, including alternative fuels. Pickens’ most recent business venture is natural gas company Clean Energy, which provides natural gas fueling stations nationwide.

Natural gas and alternative fuels continue to gain traction in the commercial trucking marketplace, and this year’s CVOC event will take on the topic head on. In addition to Pickens, the event also will include a keynote speech from Robert Bryce, one of America’s premiere journalists covering alternative fuels and natural gas
