New engineering VP at Reyco Granning

John Stuart - ReycoReyco Granning has hired of John Stuart as vice president of engineering.

With more than 24 years of experience in engineering for the transportation industry, Stuart has served in senior leadership positions for some of the leading manufacturing companies in both the trailer and powered vehicle markets, Reyco Granning says. In his new role, Stuart will direct all engineering activities including trailer, powered vehicle, aftermarket and R&D, the company says.

“I am excited to take this opportunity because I love the challenge that it offers,” says Stuart.  “As Steve Jobs once said, ‘the only way to do great work is to love what you do.’  This position will allow me to combine everything I have learned up to now in order to grow the business through product innovation and enhance what is already a valued brand in the commercial suspension market.”

“In addition to keen market assessment and cutting edge product development, John brings a high level of financial analysis experience to his role as head of Reyco’s engineering team,” says Ray Mueller, Senior VP for Business Development. “Having previously been responsible for earnings growth, profit margin and product launch execution metrics for manufacturers in the heavy duty industry, we will look to John to streamline our product development processes with a sharp focus on ROI.”
