Fullbay solicits input for state of the repair industry survey

Fullbay industry survey solicitations

For the third consecutive year, Fullbay has launched a survey for its report on the State of Heavy-Duty Repair.

Fullbay says this anonymous survey asks industry professionals to share their experiences with heavy-duty repair shops over the past year. The survey results will allow Fullbay to deliver a comprehensive report of definitive benchmarks that will provide transparency of the current state of the industry to shop owners, fleet managers and key stakeholders.

With the intent of elevating the industry, by sharing knowledge, best practices to overcoming common challenges, and more, Fullbay says it wants to hear from shop owners on several topics including part shortages, industry trends, finances, and more. Fullbay will combine real world shop data with the survey results, with the hope of bringing improvements and recognition to the industry. The report published from the survey results is the only report focused exclusively on the commercial diesel industry and will be available free to download in early 2023.

“We look forward to analyzing the survey responses and sharing the insights with shop owners, with the goal of helping them increase efficiency and revenue,” says Patrick McKittrick, CEO, Fullbay. “Hearing the voices of those on the frontline of our industry allows the industry as a whole to know what challenges shops are facing, and hopefully to provide solutions.”

The company adds the report will provide answers to questions like:

  • How the parts shortage is disrupting commercial repair
  • Technician benchmarks for efficiency, hourly wages, and more
  • Industry trends for common services performed in commercial repair

The survey will take a maximum of ten minutes to complete, with an average completion time of eight minutes. As an incentive, all participants that complete the survey will be entered to win ten $100 Amazon gift cards, and 20+ Fullbay swag packages that include a shirt, hat, charging cable, pen, tumbler, stickers and more.

The survey is available on the Fullbay website and will close on Oct. 10. Last year's report can be found here.
