No. 10 on our 2025 top products countdown

We’re excited to again count down the ten most popular new product announcements of this year based on reader engagement.

Hello, and welcome back to one of one of our favorite annual holiday traditions, the Trucks, Parts, Service top ten products countdown.

This is the 12th year for our annual countdown, and we are thrilled to share that even after a dozen years of doing this, there are still new suppliers and product categories making an appearance on this year’s list.

Yes, this year we have five industry suppliers making their first appearance on our list. That is one more newcomer than last year and shows the products and brands that captivate the TPS audience are always changing. That new vendors or long-time suppliers are always one new product away from catching the attention of the aftermarket and dealer segments.

Before we jump into our countdown one quick note about our rankings — our list solely covers component supplier and solutions provider innovation. It does not include new OEM equipment releases.

The redesigned Volvo VNR and all-new Mack Pioneer were huge stories this year, as was Wabash’s Ready-to-Mount truck bodies and other truck and trailer OEM innovations. Because of the visibility and market-wide press coverage those unveilings receive during the year, they are excluded from our rankings to keep our focus on individual products, tools or solutions.

And so, without further ado ...

Eaton 10Eaton nabs tenth spot on our 2025 countdown

We begin our 2025 product countdown with Eaton, which makes its first appearance on our list since 2016 for its January release of Endurant automated manual transmission (AMT) parts and remanufactured units for Daimler and Volvo applications.

Eaton reported the new parts introduced included genuine remanufactured units, gears, shafts, kits, electronics and components to remanufacture or repair Endurant heavy-duty transmissions.

“The share of vehicles with AMTs in North America continues to grow and is poised to become the largest segment of transmission replacements in the industry,” said Leandro Girardi, director of the aftermarket, Eaton Mobility Group. “With our expanding product portfolio, independent rebuilders can rely on Eaton for all their AMT service needs, backed by our standard aftermarket warranty.”
