Transtex launched new aerodynamic cab extender fairings at the American Trucking Associations' Management Conference & Exhibition 2025 in San Diego.
"EDGE CABFLEX reflects our customer-driven approach to innovation," says Mathieu Desjardins, president of Transtex. "We listened to the challenges fleets face daily โ from tight loading zones to demanding delivery schedules โ and engineered a solution that delivers measurable improvements in safety, durability and fuel efficiency. By reducing maintenance needs and extending vehicle uptime, we're giving fleets a smarter way to optimize performance and meet their efficiency targets."

The EDGE CABFLEX fairings are design to replace OEM cab extenders, offering fleets a lightweight, hinge-free solution that Transtex says reduces the damage caused by jackknifing while minimizing downtime and operational costs while maintaining aerodynamic performance.
"Our customers drive innovation at Transtex," says Todd McGuire, senior vice president of sales. "EDGE CABFLEX was designed with their feedback โ to make drivers' lives easier and fleets more profitable. It's the next step in advancing safety, performance and sustainability across North America's roads."
Transtex says the lightweight 70-pound assembly saves 26 pounds when compared to OEM extenders and eliminate hinge points by using T-FLEX brackets. The company says the fairings' maneuverability provides drivers with greater turning angles when backing into tight spaces. The fairings can be installed in 30 minutes by two trained technicians, Transtex says.
The fairings are manufactured in the United States.
