American Council of Frame and Alignment Specialists (ACOFAS) has extended the registration deadline for its upcoming spring technician training clinic to June 1.
Scheduled to be held June 11-12, 2013 at Love Field in Dallas, the clinic is titled “Heavy Duty Chassis Vibration Diagnostics.” ACOFAS says it will include classroom instruction on the first day at the airport and a hands-on clinic on June 12 at Standard Spring and Axle, 2511 Hickory St. in Dallas.
ACOFAS says the two-day clinic will cover suspension hop, sway and pull, frame hop, driveline shake, power steering shake and pull, steer axle pull and shake, tire balance and mounting and the use of an electronic vibration analyzer.
Registration costs are $150 for ACOFAS members, $250 for members of SSA, TARA, NTHECC, CCSN, and HDDA, and $350 for all others. Included in the registration is training materials, all meeting rest breaks, lunch both days and dinner on June 11. Registration can be made at www.acofas.com.
