NGVi offers several E-Learning course options

The Natural Gas Vehicle Institute (NGVi) says registration is ongoing for several e-learning courses.

A CNG Fueling Station Design course is available for business groups including engineers, project managers and other technical professionals. This on-demand course consists of ten hours of video-based training broken down into 20 segments. Enrolled students will receive 30-day access from the date the login/password is issued.

A CNG Fueling Station Operation and Maintenance course provides technicians with complete, in-depth instruction on best practices for natural gas fueling station operation and maintenance. This on-demand course consists of ten hours of video-based training broken down into 20 segments.

A 2.5 hour CNG Fueling Station Codes and Standards course is designed to provide an overview of all the applicable national codes and standards pertaining to CNG fueling stations, including the fire, mechanical, electrical and building codes.

A NGV Essentials and Safety Practices course trains technicians, supervisors, and other fleet operations staff how to maintain, fuel, and defuel today’s natural gas vehicles. This course is a prerequisite for technicians who will take Level 2: CNG Fuel System Inspector Training and Level 3: Heavy-Duty NGV Maintenance and Diagnostics Training, the company says.
