Truckworx has opened the doors to its new $6 million full-service dealership in Richland, Miss.
Truckworx Kenworth has been in business in the Jackson area since 2007, and is now moving to 330 Leggett Drive, Richland, Miss. 39218.
The company says its new 70,000 sq.-ft. facility triples the dealer’s number of service bays to 28, including a drive-through service lane, express lube bays, and two interior wash bays. Specialty equipment and service offerings include a diesel particulate filter (DPF) cleaning machine, flywheel resurfacing machine, heated parts cleaners, overhead cranes and air lines for faster and safer service of heavy components, two-hour truck diagnosis through Express Lane, and dedicated express lube bays.
Truckworx adds it also tripled the size of its parts warehouse to 20,000 sq.-ft., housing an estimated $ 1.2 million in parts inventory. The new facility also boasts an expansive driver’s lounge complete with two private bedrooms, private shower areas, washer/dryer, flat screen TVs, and recliners.

Local management in Richland, Miss. includes branch manager, Barry Willoughby; parts manager, Ira Peden; service manager, Darron Howell; and branch controller, Susan Bailey. The company currently employs 42 people in the Richland, Miss. location including 14 service technicians and plans to add four to six additional employees immediately.
