The Used Truck Association (UTA) and Trader Interactive will hold a webinar this Thursday, Sept. 12, 2019, to provide guidance on how today’s truck dealers can create an effective sales presence on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and other social networking sites.
Scheduled for 2 p.m. EST, the webinar will be presented by Trader Interactive’s Simon Heseltine, vice president of audience growth. Heseltine will walk listeners through some of the most successful social media strategies truck dealerships use to acquire and retain customers. He will describe the many ways customers now shop online, the advantages social media sites have over other platforms, and share best practices truck dealerships use to further develop and leverage their social media strategies.
Whether a dealer has used these sites for years or is just getting started, UTA says Heseltine’s tips for maximizing their use will prove invaluable.
“There is enormous value to companies within the used truck industry utilizing this type of platform to build better and long-lasting relationships with their customer base,” he says. “Not having a presence on social media, especially on sites where those customers are, creates significant missed opportunities for businesses, and we’re excited to showcase how to remedy this in several simple steps.”
