The Used Truck Association (UTA) announced this week it will hold its next free dealer education webinar next week on the International LT Series tractor and A26 engine.
The webinar will be led by Alan Hertzog, International’s UTO training manager. It is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET, Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019.
“This will be an excellent opportunity for dealers and other members of the trucking industry to learn more about International’s LT truck and A26 engine directly from the manufacturer,” says Amy Shahan, UTA training committee co-chair.
UTA says Hertzog will cover the following topics at the webinar:
- Features, attributes, and benefits of the latest International model, the LT Series, and the new design for the A26 International engine
- The differences between the LT and the Prostar
- The differences among the A26 engine and the N13 or MaxxForce engines
Hertzog also plans to cover how International technology has moved forward with these new products; there will also be time at the end of the webinar for Q&A, Shahan says.
Interested parties can join the webinar on Oct. 23 by CLICKING HERE or dialing 630-753-3000 and using conference ID 6418150.
Young mentors to be active at UTA Convention
The UTA also announced this week its Young Members Committee will host a new members breakfast during the organization 20th annual convention next month. The breakfast is set for 7 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 7, in the Rhodes Meeting Rooms at the Renaissance Indian Wells in Indian Wells, Calif.
This is the fourth year the Young Members Committee has held a breakfast, UTA says.
The breakfast serves to welcome the year’s new members and ensure their first experience at a UTA convention is beneficial both for themselves and their companies.
“We do that by giving the new members a kick start to their networking experience,” says Victoria Lombardo, chair of the Young Members Committee. “We provide them with mentors that are available during the convention to answer any questions about the three-day agenda.
