Champion Oil has introduced a new user-friendly fuel economy calculator for diesel fleets at www.championbrands.com.
“The transportation industry is focused on improving fuel economy,” says Karl Dedolph, fleet specialist for Champion Oil. “Champion’s online fuel economy calculator helps fleet operators and drivers determine the potential savings that can be achieved by using new lower viscosity heavy-duty motor oil.”
Champion says the website also shows the benefits of its SAE 5W-30 UltraFleet Heavy-Duty Diesel Motor Oil, which the company says can deliver an average of 3.3 to 4.5 fuel economy improvement over a conventional SAE 15W-40 lubricant tested at an independent testing facility using the SAE J1321 fuel test protocol.
